Bordering On Romance

This is another of the projects we created at my Summer Mini Event earlier this month.

The Gift/Card Purse is created using one sheet of 12"x12" Designer Series Paper - and no cutting involved :o)

The papers used are from the new Twitterpated collection. We also used some of the new Riding Hood Red Satin Pleated Ribbon. This is my new favourite Ribbon! It's the most beautiful Ribbon Stampin' Up! have every produced!

The Labels Collection Framelit Dies were used to create the mats and also to emboss the mats.

The Bordering On Romance stamp set was used for the images, which were coloured using a Blender Pen and ink pads.

If you would like to purchase the instructions for this set, you will find the details in the right hand column. The instructions will be emailed to you as a PDF document within 48 hours.

Mixed Bunch

This is one of the cards my ladies made at my Event earlier this month.

I absolutely love this stamp set. The flowers are so pretty ....... And there is no cutting out! The new Blossom punch coordinates perfectly with this set :o)

The Mixed Bunch stamp set and the matching Blossom Punch can be found in the new Summer Mini Catalogue on page 25.

The colours used for this card are Lucky Limeade, Baja Breeze and Island Indigo. The paper is just a little of the new Twitterpated - also from the Summer Mini - cut using one of the Labels Framelits dies so that it looks like a little fat vase :o) There is also a cute little bow made from some of the Island Indigo Baker's Twine.

Gorgeous ...... !

May Class - Up, Up & Away

This month's project class used the Up, Up & Away stamp set (page 24 mini catalogue) and the Two Tags Bigz Die. The project consisted of a Bottle Tag, a Gift Card Holder  and two co-ordinating cards - one of which was an easel card. Click on the picture for a closer look :o)

The colour combination I used for this set is Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. We also used some of the lovely 1cm Crumb Cake Taffeta Ribbon and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

I love this stamp set because it is so versatile. It's suitable for children, men and women and for any number of occasions.

If you would like to purchase the instructions for this set, you will find the details in the left hand column. The instructions will be emailed to you as a PDF document within 48 hours.

More Bright Blossoms

This is the other card I created as a swap for the recent Reading training day.

The colours used this time are Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Whisper White.

The sentiment is from the Hostess stamp set, Happiest Birthday Wishes. The little flowers are again from the Bright Blossoms stamp set.

I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder on the white background and the Top Note as part of the main section.

The patterned paper is from the 2011 - 2013 In Color Patterns DSP Stack (page 99).

Bright Blossoms

I recently attended a training day at Reading organised by Stampin' Up! It was a fabulous day with over 120 UK Demonstrators present.

When Demonstrators get together we like to swap. Everyone makes a bunch of card fronts or small 3D items and then they swap them with ones created by the other Demonstrators. It's a great way to meet new people and exchange ideas.

This is one of the swap cards I created. It uses the classic colour combination of Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White ..... with just a touch of Lucky Limeade :o)

All the mats (including the sentiment mat) were created using the new Labels Framelits from the Summer Mini catalogue. The central white mat was also embossed with the Oval Designer Frame Embossing Folder.

The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs stamp set and the main image from the Bright Blossoms stamp set - one of the new ones, again from the Summer Mini catalogue.
