WIldflower Meadow - Faux Canvas

This is one of the cards we completed at my Technique class this month.

I have used markers to ink up the beautiful Wildflower Meadow background stamp. It was stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock. I used the Black Stampin' Marker to add the eye to the bird.

After leaving it to dry for just a minute, I ran a line of Crystal Effects along one edge. You just need to use a toothbrush then to 'brush' the Crystal Effects across the card stock in one direction.

It doesn't take long to dry, because you are only applying a thin coat. You then need to run another line of Crystal Effects along the adjoining edge - and use the toothbrush again to brush it out into the opposite direction to the first.

The effect is good and it does look like you have stamped onto a piece of canvas.

I finished the card off with a length of the lovely Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon.
