Halloween - Cone Treat Holder

Isn't this cute? :o)

The lovely Helene Legrand had a tutorial on her blog yesterday showing how to create them. I thought they would be perfect to demo for the Party I did last night for Jane and Marion, so I quickly had a go :o)

They are really simple to create - even if you are cone challenged like me .... I've never been able to create them neatly and usually end up with a big hole in the bottom! These were fine though .... and the ladies at the Party loved them :o)

For the basic cone, you need a 6" x 6" piece of DSP and 1 sheet of 12" x 6" of our White Creped Filter Paper.

Helene use a compass to draw and create the curve at the top of her DSP. Now ... although I must buy several of these tools every year for my kids to take to school .... I couldn't find any at all to use - so I just free-styled it with the scissors straight away. They really don't have to be perfect ..... no one will know :o)

Of course I had to decorate this one with a Halloween theme! I used the Holiday Home stamp set and matching framelits to do mine.

I think this must be the most versatile set in the Autumn / Winter catalogue - it's perfect for Halloween, Christmas, New Home, Autumn and Thanksgiving.

Back To Black - Four Feathers - Scrapbook Page 1

I held my Scrapbook class last night and this was the first Page my ladies completed.

It uses the Back to Black Designer Series Paper and the Four Feathers stamps and matching framelits.

The stamps and framelits are available as a Bundle in the Autumn / Winter catalogue - saving you 15% on the total price!

Most of the feathers were stamped using Versamark and heat embossed using either Silver, Black or White embossing powder.

The other feathers were cut straight from the Silver Glimmer and Foil sheets.

The Whisper White centre panel was stamped using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. I used Basic Black and Smoky Slate ink for two of the stamps. The third I stamped using Versamark and heat embossed using Silver embossing powder.

Gift Card Envelope Die - Festival Of Trees 2

My final Gift Card Envelope for now :o)

Again, I have used the Festival of Trees stamp set for this one. Remember that this set is available as a Bundle with the matching Punch ..... for a 15% reduction in cost!

I used the Trim The Tree paper stack for the paper. I used the Punch to punch the tree shape and then raised it up using Dimensionals. The Tree was stamped onto the Whisper White panel. Lining it up with the 'hole' wasn't a problem. Before adding the Dimensionals to the paper, lay it centrally on top of the Whisper White mat and stamp the tree through the 'hole' :o)
