Wondrous Wreath - Christmas Card Set

This is the complete set of cards together. I had more ideas and could have gone on, but I thought 6 was enough for now! :o)

Of course I couldn't just leave it at the cards and I had to create a box for them too :o)

Just a simple box with a base and a lid to hold them all and the envelopes.

A couple of people have asked me for the dimensions for this box .....

I sized the box to fit our European C6 Envelopes - these measure 6 3/8" x 4 1/2".

I use my Simply Scored Board to make most of my 3D items, including boxes so I tend to stick with imperial measurements for them :o)

For the BASE I used a piece of card stock measuring 8 3/4" x 6 7/8". This was scored on all sides at 1 1/8".

Because this set was for me and not for a Class or Event my LID measurements aren't quite precise :o)

My start measurements for the card stock were 8" x 6 1/8" but I cut it just slightly larger than this. I don't tend to measure, but just move the card slightly so I cut it a little bigger. I like a snug fit on my lids so this would make the actual size of the card around 8 1/16" x 6 3/16". This was then scored on all sides at 3/4".

You would then make up the box in the 'normal' way :o)

The mats for the top measure:

Silver Foil: 6 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Whisper White: 6" x 4"

For the decoration, I stamped two more Wreaths and cut them in half again.

I matted the sentiment layer onto more Silver Foil and positioned it across the middle of the embossed White mat.

The Wreaths were then placed into the corners and trimmed before I layered the whole thing onto another Silver Foil mat.

This would make a lovely pre-Christmas gift for someone - or you could just use the cards yourself and use the box as a gift box for a small gift :o)
